What a difference! (pic)

I took this from the "Breeze" site. I hope they don't mind. I just thought it was cool.

Re: What a difference! (pic)

Unfortuantely, mine is starting to look much like the "stocker" when compared to my friends' Samurais.

Re: What a difference! (pic)

Those are atleast 38" tires on that non-stock Samurai, which are absolutely ridiculously huge for a Samurai. I'm guessing that monster isn't a daily driver like mine?

Tim

33's, SPOA, S.R., GRSI, lockrite, 4.63's, 1.6 swap, snorkle, crawlerbumper, Warn6000, s-10 seats, safari rack, rock sliders, us wheels, 2"header/exhaust,revolver shackles, national springs, and a whole lotta guts.

Re: What a difference! (pic)

look like 38.5x11 boggers to me... i like that setup myself! i am very partial to the mud though my sami will probably look similar to that... summer is getting here and i can finally afford to buy things. would a TBI 4.3L chevy move some 38" TSLs under a sammi pretty well? it would be just as cheap or cheaper to go with a 350 but i bet thats a major hack job. i've always liked that one over in the whoops pics at bncoffroad.com... tires look SO big on zuks

Hey Capn since you posted I thought I'd ask you how easy or hard was your sj410 x-fer to install. I was thinkin on the 83 and older ones that you just have to switch the flanges out?.....

Re: What a difference! (pic)

My t-case is an 84 so it has the gears that are yankable and can be made into a GRS1. It's a pretty easy swap you just need to swap the flanges on the one I have. I think you need to redrill the flanges on the Samurai to make the earlier cases fit. You might want to post the question on the board.

Mine's presently out because I trashed the bearings in it. MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE THE GEAR OIL REGULARILY!!
