Re: my new intake =0}

howdy,
what's happening no one has said a thing to me about my new intake. come on i know you guys want to say things like "Nice Water Sucker You Got There", or even "Do You Live Where There Is A Bug Problem". well since i have already said what you all are thinking, then i think i will post this at POR and get the $h1t fling over there.

Re: my new intake =0}

move it closer to the back of the head lamp. you'll get more cool air in that way as compared to the current position. mine is like that too and so far no problem with water. just be careful when dealing with water crossing....

I think it looks kickass! Nice one. Can you feel any performance improvement? I also like those factory headlight guards. Do you have a pic of your whole rig?

howdy,
i have a foam cover for it but for the drive to work (for fun) and around town i will use this set up. also i will be moving it to right behind the headlamp and making a piece of daimond plate to go around the filter.

Re: my new intake =0}

Check out the K&N site. They have "prechargers" that slip over your filter for blocking out stuff in very dusty conditions. They claim only a 10% reduction in air flow and it seems like a good thing for slow off roading. I am waiting on a filter and "precharger" myself.
