Poly tub update (pulled from topica)

Saw this over at topica and thought a few might be interested:

The tubs are nearly complete. A few changes have been made recently that
delayed the release.

The body is going to be of a polyurethane design. I won't crack or dent if
smacked. It will just bounce right back. Color is molded all the way thru so
scrapes are no big deal. The latest change on them is that the individual
panels are removeable in case someone does put a deep gouge in and wants a
clean looking panel.

The poly bodies are lighter and cheaper than what fiberglass would be.
They're also much easier to assemble. If things go well, we'll probably
begin taking orders at the end of this month. Pricing and a release date
will be up on our website as soon as the info is available.

The bodies will be available in SWB and LWB configurations. For LWB, one can
either cut and extend their existing frame, or we'll have full custom frames
available as well.

Actually, its pretty high tech stuff.

I should also add that the tubs will be very customizable. You want a larger tranny hump to fit an automatic? Can do. Possibly higher molded fenders for larger tires without more lift? Can do.

Should be a really hot item!

Larger tranny tunnel?

You have my attention! I would love to swap the sidekick engine with its own tranny!
