I found one for $50.00 with a recent rebuild (The owner just wants to get rid of it.). It's got a centered 3rd. Has anyone tried using one with a stock T-case? I knopw it's been used with a D-20. So, how about using a D-20 T-case with a 16V engine?
The Commando D44 is actually just as narrow as a Sami. I was just wondering how the rear driveshaft would work. Will there be any driveline issues with the shaft being a little diagonal?
I can't tell you from experience but I've been told you can. However you may want to use a double-carden style shaft.
