Re: Dig me new seats?

1989 Suzuki Swift GTi. I recently bought one to do the DOHC engine swap but decided it was too much work so I sold the car to Zukskywalker and kept the seats. These seats are NOT a direct bolt in an required some tricky "cut and paste." I'd like to hear from anyone else who's installed these seats in their Sami to see if I did it the same way and to see how well they have held up....

Re: Dig me new seats?

They're VERY comfortable. My butt's happy! They're in remarkable condition and came from a non-smoker's car (no burns or stink). It took me about 2 years of looking before I found them. Yes, a complete Swift GTi is near impossible to find; the seats are even harder to find. After all was said and done I paid about $100.00 for the pair including making custom seat tracks. The only complaint I have is that they're just a hair too wide along the door. Reclining the seat back or getting the seatbelt almost requires opening the door.

I really wanted to use the engine too but I decided to go V6 in the next month or so...hopefully
