Get with the program jokers. I run an internet based business as well, and I know better than to provide this lack of service!

hehe, I think bad customer service would be no reply at all or getting that email past 36 hours.

Re: 4wheel parts bad customer service?

I've ordered from them before and had good service, quick shipping, and friendly helpful support. So I'm kinda surprised at their response to you. I mean, it seems that if they could send you a reply, then they could process your order, or at least take it. Their reply implies that your order is gonna be shelved and you'd better order again if you really want it. Duh! that don't make sense. Seems like an irresponsible way to conduct an internet ordering service. Me, I prefer to use the toll-free number and 'talk' to somebody.

Re: 4wheel parts bad customer service?

Its very bad.

I over purchased from them by mistake at the store. When I wanted to return the parts, I
was asked for the saLesperson name, it had been over a year. I was told that without the
name I could not return the parts nor could they tell me how much I paid for the parts or
their value. Later on in the same day I called them without the part number and after
a series of questions about the vehicle/year.... I had a price, without a part number. Maybe
they just make up special prices depending on the day or how they feel.

Re: 4wheel parts bad customer service?

They are offering free shipping this month that CAN be combined with other offers. So I imagine they are very busy.

I have only had one bad experience and all I had to do was go to a different 4 WP store and the manager there appologised and hooked me up. (Rancho shock warranty issue).

Be sure if you call to mention the email because the free freight offer is supposed to be exclusive to online purchases.

Re: 4wheel parts bad customer service?

i just bought an arb bumper from them. got it shipped to my door in 8 days.$450 + $15 handling fee, no prblems. i looked at it on the website and then called to place my order. no problems.if i can talk to a salesman, i prefer it that way, much easier. anyway, i have had better luck with them than i have had with summit racing, they sent me some steel rims with flat spots and scratches in boxes that were barely taped together and looked like they had been stored outside, on two of the boxes you could see the edges of more than half the rim. very unhappy experience.

it had been over a year.

I dont think too many retail stores accept things back over a year, and why did you wait a year?

Re: 4wheel parts bad customer service?

Guys, call the 4wheelparts store in Charlotte, NC. Ask to speak to Kevin Walker. He's the manager, He's a zuker and He's one of the best in the business. Tell him R/T sent you!
