transfer case question

In regards to the front output. When in 2hi the front shaft will spin freely. When in 4hi the front shaft turns only with the rear shaft. When in 4lo the front shaft turns only with the rear shaft. When in neutral the front shaft turns only with the rear shaft.

Is this the way it is supposed to work or is something screwed up?

Also, what is the best method to keep the pinion flange nut on there?

Re: transfer case question

when a zuk t case is in netural the shafts are looked in 4x4 mode. if you pull the pills out and do a little grinding you can get a 2wd netural. like a grs2

proud member of the id rather be spanking the monkey 4x4 club
