Re: anyone got a GRSII fer sale?

$550.00 plus exchange is a LOT of money to pay for a used one. the gears run about $450.00 and a complete rebuild kit costs another $100.00. For what he's asking you could build yourself a GRS 1 and you know that it's been done correctly. I'm not bashing this guy. I'd just rather have one that I built myself. I hear it's pretty easy.

AARRRRRRRG! 1987 Red JX 'vert, 4.5 BREEZE SPOA, SJ410 T-case, 31 BFG M/T knock offs, extended shackles (1.6 - 16V eventually)

Re: anyone got a GRSII fer sale?

I have a GRS II which I got because they said you can run 31" tires wihout changing gears. You can't for rock crawling, so I had to buy gears. I got 5:12's and now it is too low. In hind sight I wish I had bought a GRS I and changed gears and saved 500.00. My GRS II works good but with tires larger than 30" I would go another way. Klunve now offers a nice box for the Sammy which is a bolt in I believe although it is expensive.

GRS II, Hybrid Rear with 5:12's, Lockers, Warn HS9500 stuffed in an ARB Bumper, Cage, Doug Thorley Header, etc.
