Stupid question flange size/year

Would the drive shafts from an 87 work in an 88 with the 12mm bolt size flange?
Thanks in advance,

Re: Stupid question flange size/year

Yep. Both are "small flange" d-shafts.

On a related note, Pugrocker was speaking to Sidertrax the other day and they said that the large flange didn't emerge till 92. I'll have to check my 91 later today to see if that is consistant. I've always thought that 88.5 was the swing year. Live and learn....

Crow,
I have an '88.5 - and it's the large flange. But not all mid-year '88's are of the larger flange variety. That's the transition year.

Re: Stupid question flange size/year

Scott,
That's exactly what I thought. I have an 88.5 with small flanges. I'm puzzled as to why Spidertrax said this....Hmmm......
