Re: What kind of springs are these? Please Help

I got these from a guy who has never used them. In fact he never took them out of the boxes the guy he bought them off of sent them to him in. They are used w/ no markings I can find.

They don't look stock. The top one is a sami rear spring of some sort and the one on the bottom is a CJ front.

Sami spring has 5 leafs all together, and the one on the bottom is 2x as thick as the rest.
They also have these round yellow spring pads on them.

The CJ springs have 7 leafs and the bottom one on there is also 2x as thick as the rest.
These have square black spring pads on them.

I am pretty sure there aftermarket springs. Are they lifted or something though. They are really stiff the way they are I donít think they will flex very much at all.

Should I use these and take out some leaves? Does someone want to trade me for some stock ones and some cash? I donít know what to do here any help would be great.
Thanks guys,
F_T

With yellow bushings AND pads, I would guess that they are Old Man Emu

I would almost say that they are front OME's, and they are bent at the backend. The others do look like CJ springs.

Well it didn't look THAT deep! Hold on I'll tow you out I'll get my jeep only strap.

But what kind of SAMI spring? Are they sami front OME's or sami rear OME's? Can you tell, or how would I go about telling, whether or not they are lifted springs?
THanks,F_T
