Choke... go manual?

Well, I was having some starting problems and thought it was the water choke on my Weber carb, so I was just going to replace it with a manual choke. I've always had the manual pull choke on most of my vehicles. So I bought the parts to install, but once I got into working on it, found out it was just a bad wire connection from the starter. So, to make a long story short... Should I replace the choke? How reliable is it, anybody have any problems with 'em? What d'yall think? I hate to replace it if it's working.
Input appreciated. Thanks.

I don't have the weber so can't comment on that but your line above kinda sums it up. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Jim

Re: Choke... go manual?

Never had problems with the hot water chokes... it's the electric ones I don't like.
