Indy Storm

I'm looking at putting a set of SLP pipes on my 94 Polaris Indy Storm. Anybody know how these pipes perform, are they worth it? -Thanks, any info will be helpful

Re: Indy Storm

Right up my alley. I am running these pipes now and have been for 4 years. They don't add much in the way of HP but big weight savings over the stock pipes. They do flow better, I had to fatten my jetting a bit. I really like them, not as noisey as PSI. I've seen the PSI ones around but I'm not sure if they deliver any more HP than the SLP. The SLP pipe is designed to run at 81-8200 RPM and instead of using the 10AL weights and grinding them for engaugement with a blue spring I used 10ALs with an almond spring no grinding. Engauges at 5000 and holds 8200 right on. Let me know what elevation you are riding if you go with them and I can help you with additional set-up.
