Seized primary clutch

While doing a little off trail riding yesterday, I think I worked it too hard and got it REAL hot. Now it's seized and in the engaged position. It' a Comet 108 EXP, and it's 6 months old. Has anybody had this happen, and what was the remedy?

Re: Seized primary clutch

I have also had this problem. On one of the three sides the roller busishing and weight were all ground up, like agressive sand paper. My dealer had rebuilt the whole thing and it recentely happened again. They serviced it for free, but have no idea what makes this keep happening. It is a polaris clutch but the same problem. Any good feedback, i would also like to know!!!
