650 Wildcat Drive Wheels

The drive wheels wore out on my 1990 650 Wildcat so I went an picked
up a used drive wheel off a 93 580Z. Figgered since the actual wheels
themselves where the same, the width of the shaft was the same and
the track was the same, then it would bolt right in. Well, first off, the
outer wheels had to come in about 3/8". Now that it is up in the tunnel,
the track is not quite centered. The question is, on the wildcat is the
track actually centered in the tunnel? I cannot imagine that it is not.
In addition, does anyone have one of these sleds that they could look
up in there and verify this for me?

Thanks,

Rob
