Clutch Question

I have a 78 el tigre 6000 with a 440, and I had to put a new clutch on it. I got a Comet # 212600A, as per dealer I put in a Yel/Grn spring, and C2 cam arms. I do not have the top end and pulling power I used to with the factory clutch.
The paper work that came with the clutch says I should use a A13 cam arms.
Could this be my top end problem ?

Re: Clutch Question

It may be. Your primary may not be shifting out all the way. That could be due to the weights. Also, do you have a belt that's in good shape? If it's worn, then it may not be riding high enough in the primary when the primary shifts out.
