Greasing up fittings

Hey everyone i have a 94 yamaha v-max 600. I saw grease fittings so i bought a grease gun and pumped a bunch of grease into them. These fittings were between the track. I noticed that my suspention feels weird right now. I cant really bounce it without making a wierd noise. I dont have any snow to ride but could that grease screw up my ride. Also i was wondering if hitting jumps can damage my sled because i like to do that?

Re: Greasing up fittings

Grease will never hurt it infact I grease the grease fittings at least 3-4 times a month in winter.

If I were you I would take the rear suspension out and then slide the shafts out and grease them up real good this will help in the longevity and ride quality of your sled, then grease the rear fittings at least 2 times a month or every 400moles or so.
