I rolled my 2000 AC Powder Special about 300 ft down a mountain 2nd day out! I wasn't too happy as the rubbers stretched and one pin broke off so the hood popped up and crunched badly! What can I use to repair the hood? I tried a glue gun stick but was no good!
I don't know about AC but Polaris recomends Flexible Bumper Repair. It is a two part epoxy like material that stays a little flexible. It can be obtained at most automotive paint supply stores. Also they have a mesh material similar to fiberglass that can be inbedded in it for reinforcement.
the only thing to use to fix hoods is called three bond, it cost about 25 bucks and it is made just for snowmobile hood repair, alot of places sell it, i even keep it in stock. if you would like to order some just give me a call at 608-240-0627
