Exciter chaincase instalation questions.

I am putting my Yamaha Exciter chaincase back together and I dont remember what all goes where as far as spacers(as I took it apart a few months ago).It seems that the thicker spacer goes behind the Jackshaft sprocket and the thinner washer like spacer goes behind the driveshaft sprocket. But when I put it in that way the driveshaft sprocket can "float" or move on the spline. Is this the way it is supposed to go? I would appreciate any advise you have to share. Thanks!

Re: Exciter chaincase instalation questions.

check out this site.... www.hlsm.com. Go there then hit, you know your part number. Once that page loads, go down to Yamaha snowmobiles....pull up your sled and it will show you the microfishe (sic). You can also
post on www.totallyamaha.com.....they are very very helpful.
