Here in Utah we've got about 5 feet up at the 9000 foot level. Today we nearly had too much new snow. I'm not prepared to say that, but we spent a good part of the riding digging our sleds out of some big holes. If you were on a short track (136") today you wouldn't have been able to follow us. I stuck a 151 800RMK going across the flat in one area... all in all a good day.
Weather geek says another 18" for the mountains tonight.
I have a new site up this year that links to the Snotel weather/snow stations in the north west. Check out http://snow-tek.com for several web cams, weather and snow depth information for the north west.
i live here in southern maine(n.waterboro),had 8" yesterday morning 0" tonight, real bummer! but i had a chance to try my 2001 ZR600 out, the mid range is awsome and it REALLY flies over the moguls we have here. 70 mph in 8"-14" rough stuff and it handled perfectly.i guess every one is right that the cats love to be pushed HARD!! i thought it even rode nice at lower speeds (40 mph),maybe i'm just used to the old buck board SRV i had.maybe we'll get some snow this wed.
