SILENCER

I JUST INSTALLED A DG SILENCER ON MY XCR 600. I noticed it's a lot different starting it than last year. Last year I would put it on half choke and in one or two pulls it would start, now I put the choke on half and it fires a little then dies then I put the choke off and pull it while giving it a little throttle and it fires. Is there any adjustment I need to make on the carbs. thanks

Re: SILENCER

Silencers are not supposed to affect jetting. I knew a guy who put a DG on a 1995 XCR and he said it would only redline at 600 less than it did stock, and lost all its power. Loud as hell, but no power. Put the stock can back on, and he was back in business.
