1\" VS 1.25\" Track?

I am buying a new track for my 98 ZR 600, this is mostly a play around type of sled and I would like awsome launch times but I cant decide between a 1" and a 1.25" track. How different are they? The price between them is almost $200 bucks Canadian so I would perfer the 1" because of cost but does that 1/4 inch really make a difference? Thanks Guys

Re: 1\" VS 1.25\" Track?

My belief is that snow conditions will dictate more of a need of a 1" or 1.25" track depth. On the trail you are probably not gonna notice a slight difference between the two tracks. However, in loose/powder or pack powder the deeper track could have an advantage over the shorter lug track. Alot also depends on the quality of the rider.

Re: 1\" VS 1.25\" Track?

I bought the 1" track today, it has holes drilled for studs so I am thinking of putting in 96 of em. Which studs are the best to buy, my lsed sees mostly open stubble fields and semi-deep powder. What are the ups and downs of them? and who offers the best studs at the lowest price?
Thanks guys

Probably depends on price and/or brand preference. Traction? Take a look and YOU decide about this suggestion. Snobug Powder Sccops @ DennisKirk.com
