Help! Truckbox top hauler

Hello, new here and seeking help. Does anyone have palns or tips for making a sled hauler to go on top of a truck box? I want to haul 2 sleds without using a trailer. I could come up with something but was hoping someone had done this before and could offer some advice. Thank you.

ps If anyone needs help with any wiring problems, i should be able to help.

Re: Help! Truckbox top hauler

What you are referring to is called a sled deck. If you do a search on the internet for sled decks there are lots of manufacturers out there. As far as building one yourself they shouldn't be too difficult if you are a good welder. The big thing is to have a structurally sound plan for the base that actually sits in the truck box. The deck you see on top of the truckbox does not rest on the sides of the truckbox.
