99 zr 500-bent running boards

I was wondering if anyone ever heard of the running boards bending down causing the suspension mounting bracket to bend into the suspension block? It is now wearing at the block when the suspension moves up and down. Are you not able to ride these sleds hard with your feet outside of the footwells? I need some advice on how to fix it or if the warranty will cover it.

Yeah it can happen..sort of. Are the bushings between your block and the tunnel in place???? Holz Racing sells stiffeners for the
boards on the Cats. A cure for flexing running boards is a chunk of aluminun angle riveted in place.

If you can't buy what you want, BUILD IT!!

Since the sled is still under warranty and one of my friends said Cat will most likely replace the tunnel and add sno-pro brackets, can you just put a sno-pro tunnel on the 99 zrs? I will probably cost some extra money if you can but I like the wide running boards and reinforcement.
