maybe someone can help me. I am trying to recalibrate my clutch on my indy600 it engages at 5300 rpm.
I have tried a few weight/spring combinations and havent been happy with the results. I was wondering if there
was a way to pre determine engagement and top rpm without spending a fortune on weights and springs.

Re: clutches

A general rule of thumb is 100lbs of spring tension = 1000 rpms. Of course this is dependant on a lot of other factors but is pretty close for a start point.
