mountain snow

I've been thinking branching out in the near future. Anyone have a snow report for: Stanley, McCall, Cooke City, northwest Wyoming, etc. I live in the center of this circle of areas, but have never been to any of them. We went to Seeley Lake a couple of weeks ago and found good snow up above 6000'. For anyone interested in the Bitterroots there is decent snow up high, though not like last year. I'm not complaining only for the benefit of you poor folks in the midwest and northeast

Re: mountain snow

I haven't heard a recent snow report for Cooke City, but it snowed about 6-8 inches of snow here the other day and it's snowing right now. I live about 3 hours away from Cooke, so there is probably quite a bit of new stuff up there. I'm probably going up Sunday, so I will check back then.

Re: mountain snow

Hey, I called up to Cooke City last night. The Yamaha dealer told me that in the last week, they have got 6 feet of new snow. I didn't get up there Sunday, but I'm planning to go this coming Sunday.
