Does anyone know where I can find torque specs for '95 600 XCR head bolts??? Do they need to be torqued again after the engine has warmed up???

Re: torque specs for 600 XCR

thanks for the info....but I found a shop manual. It said 15-18 ft lbs. I have it all back together now w/ about 30 miles on it. Seems to run fine, we'll see how it holds up this weekend. I'll be putting about 2-300 miles on.
thanks again!

Re: torque specs for 600 XCR

Take it real easy and follow standard break in procedures. A nice new is great- unless you ruin it in a weekend. I try to do break-ins
with out any of my buddies or my brother around. I can't keep off the throttle with anyone else around. By myself I concentrate on
varying the throttle and staying away from full throttle. I run a full tank mixed at 40:1 through for the initial 100 miles and then take it
easy for another 100 miles. The let 'er rip.

If you can't buy what you want, BUILD IT!!
