Jetting for Pipes
I have an 89 Mach 1. When i bought it it came with an after market clutch and pipes. I believe they are DG pipes. The engine is a 583. The stock jet are suppose to be 260/290. I just looked at the carbs and the jets are 360/380. Does this sound normal for just adding pipes? I am getting about 8MPG and am considering changing the jets. My brother has a '94 STX with the same engine. His sled has 340/350 and i assume they are stock. I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
