Polaris Hood Cracks

I have heard of a product that Polaris reccomends for repairing cracks in thier hoods. Does anyone know the name of the product? I understand it is used for plastic bumpers on cars, and that it is purchased at auto body supply stores. I just don't know the name of the product.

Can anyone help?

Thanx

Re: Polaris Hood Cracks

After rolling my sled down a hill I took it back to my dealer. He used some type of epoxy and fabric cloth. It didn't hold. I actually took a pair of pliers and removed what was left.
I borrowed a airless plastic welder from a friend, mad by Mac tools, choose the polypropolene stick and welded the crack in my hood. I used the supplied tool and also a butane hot air torch and my best oxy-acetylene welding skills. I welded both sides of the crack and so far it is holding up
