144\" track tension
I am running the 144" on my 98 700 rmk with holz extensions
What track tension are you guys running? Do you do the 1 1/2 turns tighter than ratcheting tension or run it fairly tight? thanks matthew. |
Re: 144\" track tension
Just tried my polaris kit today. I don't like how tight they tell you to run the track so I started out at 1" from the hi fax instead of 1/2". It did fine climbing in the deeper powder with a good base and also on packed powder hills. I'll keep adjusting out until I feel it slip.

Re: 144\" track tension
I run mine as loose as I can without ratcheting the drivers through the track. It seems to work fine that way and I get good like out of my hifax. I will have to measure it sometime I guess. I make way too many adjustments by feel instead of going by the book I guess.
