Clutch Removal
I am trying to remove a Comet 108C clutch from my 89 Mach 1. I am using a brand new puller and have made it as tight as i can with a 1/2" rachet. I have also tried tapping it with a hammer. I have also sprayed around the crank shaft with WD-40. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Eric |
Re: Clutch Removal
Sometimes it requires more than a tap, but the best way is an impact gun.

Re: Clutch Removal
hey there is a way that is a little easier on your pullerpack the cavity that the puller is going into full of grease then impact it off this will be easier on your puller especially if its an offshore unit good luck
