aftermarket shocks

I've got a 96 skidoo F-Z 583, that I have had since new, and since I can't get a good price as a trade in or in the classifieds, I'm going to get it ready to ride for the coming season, but it needs new shocks. Can anyone offer opinions on ryde f/x , kimpex gold, or any other shocks that would be good for an almost srict trail-use machine. Keep in mind that I don't race and want the comfiest ride I can get.

Thanks in advance
Ken

Re: aftermarket shocks

Thought !!!
I bought a gas pro 2000 from dennis kirk for under ($100) for the rear and I also bought a Fox shock ($175) from a different vendor for the middle shock for the rear suspension of my sled and let the truth be known, money makes a big difference between the two. The Fox is twice if not more the shock then the gas pro. Price does matter when it comes to shocks.

Just my experience by trial and @#%*!!!!

Re: aftermarket shocks

I ride with Fox on my '99 RMK 700. I love them.
