Snow in Idaho?

The wife and I are taking a short trip to the Ketchum area the end of this week to do some relaxing (and snow recon). I've never been to that area or Stanley and am wondering if I should just leave the sleds at home and return later this winter. Anyone in that area have a snow report? The Bitterroots are getting some snow as I write this!

Re: Snow in Idaho?

A storm passed through today but I don't know how much. I was in Logan, UT all day. Call the Stanley Stop in Stanley or Smiley Creek Store at Smiley Creek. There probalbly isn't enough on the south side of Galena Summit yet. Powderbound, If you are out there did you talk to dad today and did he say anything about the snow at Sun Valley?

Re: Snow in Idaho?

My folks have been in Sun Valley all week and said that there is no snow in town at all. And there is not enough snow on the hill to even ride yet. If you go up high you could ride on the road though.

Re: Snow in Idaho? Web Site

This site ought to give a pretty good picture of the snow depths around Idaho.
