Can you recharge the struts on a TSS suspension

I own a SRV and the handling sucks(to tippy). I was wondering if it is possible to recharge the struts on the TSS suspension. if you do any suggestions would also be nice. thanks for your time Joe

If you have to measure it in inches....what's the point, it's not enough

Re: Can you recharge the struts on a TSS suspension

I haven't heard of anyone getting their tss shocks recharged. There is a company that sells new shocks because I was going to replace mine but I can't find them now. My srv and a buddies srv are all tippy. I guess it's one of those reasons that people don't care for tss suspension. Once you get use to how it reacts to bumps It's a very fun sled to ride.
Any mods done ?

Not to many mods more just modern technology. A pipe was a must. I also added Boyseen reeds which also a must. Bored .20 over (but not on purpose). Alot of little stuff. My sled has been family owned since the show room floor. Even though she's old i can still keep up with my brothers 95 XCR 600 (which is highly modified: pipes, SLP heads, clutching, carbs, the works) I've seen him do wheelies in the grass w/ 192 studs i don't see why not

Yes you can have your nitrogen recharged at a Yammie dealer. It is nothing you want to try your self but there is a little rubber port on to bottom of the strut in which a needle is inserted in order to recharge.

Re: Can you recharge the struts on a TSS suspension

to get rid of the tippy feeling Ive heard of a widening kit for the TSS front ends. seen one on a Phazer and i beleive the guy said it was 3-4 inches wider. just had to cut the pipe the shock attaches too and weld in an extension on each side. if you got a good welding shop around maybe you can make it up your self. got my own welder and have done a widening kit on the Ole '79 John Deere, what a difference that made.
