How can i get more top end from a \'73 Scorpion Super Stinger 440?

I need to make my Super stinger 440 go faster. what can I do to make it go faster? It has a very fresh motor,
so its comp. is good. what about gearing the drive sprockets? who makes peformance upgrades for it?
Thanks for any help.

You can try these websites www.vsca.com and www.vintageskidoo.com for technical help and possibly someone there will know where you can get parts. Also, try www.trailconditions.com and post under vintage. As for a manufacturer of performance parts for a 27 year old sled of a now defunct manufacturer, you must be kidding ,Right?Regards,Brair

not sure, but if ya know what your doing, a little porting can never hurt.
clean up the intake and exhaust ports, take the roughness out of them.
not sure really what else ya can do with these older machines.
i have the 1980 txl on the readers sled page and i did the porting etc. and it helped somewhat. play with clutching and gearing too if ya want.
hope this helped, if not, ah well.
