How many miles do you ride each year?

I was just wondering how many miles a year you guys ride?

I ride 1200 - 1700 miles each year. When we get enough snow to really start riding, I ride at least once a week for the better part of the season. Most of my trips are rides of 30 - 60 miles. We try to fit in about three trips that span several days (Island Park trips) that produce 150 - 300 miles each trip.

Looks like we ride about the same. We ought to hook up some time.

About 1,000 miles per year. Ride usually once per week. On a good week 2-3 times. At least one big ride each year.

Between 1,500-2,000 miles a year. Ride for a week straight in Christmas and over New Years.

Re: How many miles do you ride each year?

Last year was not a good year around here (NH) for snow, but managed to get 600 miles on the sled. In a good year, we'll get out every other weekend for a good 100 miles. A long weekend is good for 2-300 miles easy. Around home, I'll get out 2-3 nights a week for 30 to 50 miles a night. On the average, I'd say our troop puts on 1,500 to 2,000 miles a year. Not bad for a state that is rapidly developing and cutting off trail access.

Usually 1600-1800 with about 700 on a Lion's Eyebank fundraiser.
Will be trying for 2500 this year, IF IT EVER SNOWS.

Re: How many miles do you ride each year?

It sounds like most of you take a big ride during the year. We should plan a couple of different group rides sometime during the year.
