First ride of the year!

Couldn't wait any longer. We got six inches of snow today and I took the '99 RMK 700 out for a spin. ( Didn't even get stuck this time! )

Re: First ride of the year!

I'm from Idaho also (Boise area). Where did you go sled? There's supposed to be some snow fallin' this weekend (20th and 21st). Hopefully after this storm there'll be a bit more than 6'. Fingers are crossed. Headin' up north Friday for the big football game (UI/BSU) and I'm thinkin' about hookin' up the sleds to stop in McCall on the way up to the game and the way back. Let it snow-letitsnow!!!

Re: First ride of the year!

Got 6 inches from the same storm. Yes there were people up riding. More snow on the way over the weekend. We may have some half decent riding come Thanksgiving, I'll really have something to be thankful for.

Re: First ride of the year!

So will my track! 2" track and 6" of snow? Good thing I was on my '96 trail with 3/4" track!

Re: First ride of the year!

Mark,

In your first post you said you were on your 99 RMK. In your last post you said you were on your trail. Doesn't make sense. I don't think you rode at all unless it was in your dreams. However, if you did really ride and you were on your RMK how did the144" track extension kit work? Were you pleased with it? If you were on your trail how did the clutch work Carl's did on the trail work. Will it run yet?
