Painting a helmet

I have a bieffe 3 sport sno pro made out of polycarbonate shell. I need to know if anyone knows if its paintable. Is there a special under coat or paint I should use. I'm kinda in a hurry so any help would be GREAT! Thank you Mike

Just paint it. Clean it up good, remove stickers, sand out nicks, etc. Use the same methods you would use on a car. Same paint, too, if you can afford it. that would look the best. Keep in mind, painting a helmet is not reccomended by the manufacturer. They claim it weakens it. It also isn't getting replaced with a new one, which also concerns them.
