New Delivery Dates of 144\" Track Kits

Same old think. My dealer in Yreka, Ca. just received another fax from Polaris on the delivery of the 144" track kits. The fax read, will be shipped on 12-8-99. It seems that if you haven't gotten your kit, that it won't be available until early December. Some dealers have definitely received there kits, but not mine. I have had my 700 RMK since the first of September. I have already taken it all apart and sold my 136 x 2". I know that the demand has been great for the kits but come on, its already snowing in Northern California and my buddies have already but out snowmobiling. Oh I guess when it finally gets here that I won't be disappointed. Keep the faith and let it snow and winter rules.

Maybe you could order a track kit from a dealer out of state. I know Tri-City Polaris in centerville Utah has tons of kits. So do the other dealers in the area. Tri-City has a web site you could even order one from.

Re: New Delivery Dates of 144\" Track Kits

Just brought my track kit (yes kit) home today. Im from northern Alberta. Looks good , one thing, the plastic side skirts lost the hillclimb boot grips. Another thing you could probably get away with leaving the tunnel as is and just using the rails and track. Going to the mountains on Sunday.

Re: New Delivery Dates of 144\" Track Kits

ok, help clear something up for me; I was under the impression that the "kit" only included the track and longer rails, no mods to the tunnel needed. Does it also include a tunnel extension? Also just for everyones info, I talked to my local dealer last week, said they had a waiting list of more than 50 for the kit, but they expected them all in by Dec. What I thought was strange were the prices;$580 with my stuff as trade(unused of course) or $780 without trade. Seems to me I should have no problem getting at least $200 out of a used 136X2" track, so I am gonna ride the stock track on my 800 at least a month or so to see how it does, then decide what to do after that. If we ever get any snow that is! Calling for 70 on sunday, whats up with that?
