Winter Time!!!

Hey Everyone, Just checkin' out the new Forum..Still a little cumbersome for me, but.....It'll come.

I am being told to buy a '98 RMK 700 over a '99 RMK. But I never get a good reason other than "It just goes through the snow better." Someone give me a reason one way or the other. Isn't newer always better?

Re: Winter Time!!!

I traded in my '98 for the '99 and I have been extreemly happy. I can't say that it runs any butter, but I love the way it feels. I ride close to 2000 miles per year on a new sled every year. And this '99 RMK 700 has been the best one yet. In fact, this will be the first time in five years that I am not getting a new sled for myself. I plan to give this one another year while I wait and see what the 800 performs like.

Re: Winter Time!!!

Just wanted to put my 2cents in, If you buy the right sled the first time you will have to go out and buy a new next year. But if you don't do it now you will be wishing that you had when your bud's are sitting at the top & you are still trying to get there. I beleave that POLARIS 700 RMK is the best all around sled for any condition of SNOW, I have ridden 97-700, 98-700, 99-600, 99-700 ( NOTE; NONE of them were mine ofcorse ) 4 Cats, 2 Doos & 2 Yams. i pickup my new sled Oct. 23-99. it will be a 2000 700 RMK ! CAN NOT WAIT FOR SNOW, Any way GOOD LUCK ON your choice I'm sure that it will be the right one. HAPPY POWDERPUSHING O i almost forgot BETTER HANDLING & 35% MORE POWER
