Did you weld the shaft extention to the countershaft? Good clean work man. Looks very trick. You could make good dough just fabricating stuff for people. You must have all different types of welders.

I work in a machine shop russ (now in front of a computer), I know that work like that would take some time. And it is really good work! Your welds would make mine look like bird &%*$. I think any year kx 500 piston after 1991 should be the same right? I thought they went like close to 80 with stock gearing. Have never done technical work like that, just helped in building trailors, work benches stuff like that. If it's that light then picking it up should be no problem if you get stuck. Thank's for sharing the photo's, keep up the good work.
