Hart and Huntington Off Road is thrilled to announce a new supporting association with the ground breaking action sport apparel company Grenade Gloves. The #22 Hart and Huntington Pro 4 piloted by Josh Merrell will sport the notorious Grenade Gloves logo and icon which can be seen plastered at popular recreational destinations throughout the western United States.

Grenade Gloves, launched with a 10 point die-hard manifest, has exploded its brand presence on the action sport scene attracting an army of consumers with an aggressive guerrilla marketing campaign, “Grenade Games” Movies, Contest & Tours, “Grenade Army” (Web Based Social Fan Club), and the popular FUEL TV Show Danny and Dingo.

As a core brand that heavily influences the action sport industry, Grenade understands the market cross over is valid and appealing to the fans of off road racing, many of which are active enthusiast and riders themselves.

Lucas Oil Off Road Pro 4 pilot, Josh Merrell is the key figure behind the apparel and branding side of Hart and Huntington. Merrell’s company, Liquid Graphics which specializes in action sport apparel, not only creates all of the brand styling and design in house, but is also responsible for the complete manufacturing and distribution. Josh is actually a gifted artist and has a keen awareness of what sells & where the latest look is going while maintaining focus and setting trends verses duplicating what is in style. Josh expressed, “I think Grenade Gloves is a perfect fit for Hart and Huntington Off Road. They make exceptional products with a fresh look. I can say Hart and Huntington is excited about the new affiliation with the off road racing program and we are pumped to offer the Grenade Brand an action oriented platform to access a new audience.”

Grenade Gloves was founded by brothers Matt and Danny Kass in 2001. The company is based in Portland, Oregon and manufactures snowboarding gloves, outerwear, streetwear, footwear, accessories and a newly launched line of Motocross technical riding gear. The company has a number of professional and amateur athletes on its roster, including US Olympians Louie Vito and Scotty Lago among other high profile riders.

The next stop for Lucas Oil Off Road Racing is making the only Southern Californian appearance on the 2010 schedule. Exciting as the short course racing action is, Rounds 9 & 10 will be off the hook and under the lights. In the cool of the evening on August 7th and 8th, the legendary Glen Helen International Raceway will come alive. Don’t miss a stacked field of banzai race car drivers going all out on an off road short course featuring two table top rhythm sections, high speed banked corners and all the dirt spraying carnage one can handle.
