Re: what ever happend to soda?

SODA was sold to Marty Reid who in turn renamed it CORR and then was sold to Jim Baldwin

soda ? ask the old racers

I don't know for sure, but the blinding light of video on cable and the big prize money after years of hard work by the likes of Terry Wolff were told to do it the big boys way or they might lose the big sponsors, so all the buggy racers and the truck guys jumped on the band wagon for the big money boys, then when Terry put SODA to bed, CORR Then demanded only their chassis kits would be certified and you bought a bundle of their tubing and junked your class 7,8, etc. and then a few races later the lower classes of buggies were eliminated because they were too boring for tv and then the boys who jumped ship realized they shot themselves in the foot.. oops!
SODA was by racers for racers but the lure of the other things $ and fame and the hopes of an income from racing played a big part in the end. I just want to state it is only an opinion, Call the old SODA officers and tell them you miss the Great old days....
