Re: Exhaust with glass bedsides??????????

good setup

was this how you set your flowthru exhuast up right from scratch or did you have it straight initially.

the reason i ask is - 90degree bends will create a significant drop in flow and i was wondering if you noticed any difference in performance after the change. But then again maybe the additional bends increase back pressure and improve low end response!

Re: Exhaust with glass bedsides??????????

Thanks.

This is how i had it set up. There are only bends where necessary, and they are not severe. My old exhaust had numerous bends and hacks, cuz i went through several different additions(cats and mufflers).

I have more top end now(still no cat, straight through muff).

Re: Exhaust with glass bedsides??????????

It is a Dynomax Magnaflow, stainless, fully polished, straight through, universal muffler. If you go to the site..........www.magnaflow.com, you will actually be able to find specs on it.

It sounds high pitched, which is exactly what i was after.

I am running a header, and 2.25" pipe all the way to the muffler(no cat).

I prevoiusly had 2.25" in and out of a Flowmaster with a 4" resonated and rolled tip. It was low, throaty and had bass. I grew tired of it.
