Prerunner bumpers

I have been building and designing some prerunner bumpers in my spare time. I have sold a few to local off roaders and if want to know if this is a market that people would be interested in. They have been pretty sturdy also. I had a new F350 run into the back of my truck and it messed up his front end pretty bad while slighty scratching my bumper paint. Currently i only have built ones for full size chevys and a few Nissans. I figure that a cost of $60 more than outweighs the cost of the tubing. And as for labor, its something i enjoy. I will try to get some pictures so you can critique them.

How does it feel to be beaten by a sewing machine?

I'd be interested. And I'm sure others will be too. Post some pics so we can get a feel for your work.

Re: Prerunner bumpers

I've been looking for a custom prerunner bumper for my 2000 F-150. Send some pictures and I might send some money. I'm VERY interested, esspecially in a frame mounted bumper. All the after market ones that I've found attach to the bumper. I want to get rid of most of my bumper and expose the frame where I hope the prerunner bumper would mount. Something along these lines:

Thanks.

Re: Prerunner bumpers

I'd be interested if you could build ones like Downey has for Toyotas.
