Who is the best fab shop in so. California? I want to get widened beams for my truck who should I go to? Whats your opinion about mounting double shocks on the front side of the I-beams. How much do a good pair of fabbed radius arms w/heims cost?

Try Auto Fab in Santee, CA. In San Diego County. I think www.autofab.com is the website.

Re: F-150

Try H&M, Donahoe,or Camburg. They have good products from what ive heard.

I think the moneys not object consensus is to ditch the coil buckets, and run coilovers with air bumps and bypass shocks.

Re: F-150

I agree with everything cleartoy said, but your question is really impossible to answer. Good thing is, you live in off road heaven. John at Autofab is pretty darn good with full size trucks. He's in Santee. Stewart Race Works is in the same general area. Go out I-8 a little further and find Spirit racing. Jeremy built a Score stock full race truck (that's basically a stock suspension with a resevoir shock and a bypass shock at each corner) that beat all the protrucks, all the class 8 trucks, and all the unlimited 7 trucks in the Baja 2000. If anybody tells you any of those three shops are the best, they have a good argument. H&M has built some good trucks. So has Perry McNeil (Perry's Fab & Fiber). Perry lives in Lemon Grove but his shop is in TJ. I've had WTD do some work on my truck and it was fine work. Just stay away from the fake off road shops that build sissy street trucks. You know who I mean.

Get it done and I'll see you in San Felipe in two weeks.
george.

Re: F-150

I can say from experience, that Camburg Engineering in HB does great work. Welding and overall quality/fitment is
otherworldly.
