Re: Custom Air intake!

what type of intak are you trying to make? a k&n fintercharger type or a snorkel? plastic is supposed to be better for performance becuase it will absorb less heat and heat up the incoming air less.

tomklipp---

I want an air-intake system that brings in more air and gives my HP's a little boost. I dont need a snorkel because i rarely get wet.

Re: Custom Air intake!

I was thinking about doing something similar to my 93 chevy s10 2.8. I wanted to make an open element airfilter with a K&N filter. The problem is that K&N doesn't make a setup for my engine, and I can't really make my own due to the presence of sensors ect in the aircleaner housing. Just my .02
