2wd GMC Sierra......lift or level kit help??????

Hey guys, first post here. Cool forum. I drive a 2005 GMC Sierra 2wd. I am interested in either doing a 1.5" Daystar front leveling kit, or a small lift such as a 3" front and 1.5" rear such as the one made by ProComp. Can anyone give me an CONS associated with either modifications?? The front level kit is more wallet-friendly and I'm leaning more towards that, especially since I am doing it mainly for looks and a slightly larger tire size. Will the front level kit cause premature suspension wear on my ride?? I have heard that it can on certain trucks. Thanks for any help you guys can provide to me.

Paul
