Re: 4x4 racer

For the fiberglass they should have it all over the place. Try Fabtech or Donahoe Racing or even go direct to Hannenman's (spelling?). SOrry don't have numbers handy but Fabtech's web site is http://www.fabtechmotorsports and Donahoe's is http://www.donahoeracing.com.

Now for the long travel 4x4 kit you were talking about, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing one for a Nissan. I've been trying to find someone to make a kit for my '98 Chevy S-10 and so far no dice. and I don't mean custom work but an actual "kit" with arms and axles and everything...

Still, if you don't mind spending a lot of cash to get it to work, you can always go to a fabricator and have it made for you. Talk to Kreg Donahoe and he might be able to hook you up or give you ideas. Just remember it's going to be CU$TOM with an emphasis on the $$$!

Hope that helps.

Re: 4x4 racer

i don't think anyone makes a suspension kit for your 85 nissan. the way the front suspension is built on your truck doesn't lend it's self to being tampered with. you would have to go with a totally custom front setup to do what you want to do.

And you didn't think i could make it through?

Jim Conner @ desert steel has been doing Nissans for ever. He built for the factory in the 80's (I think)

If you're anywhere close by, you can catch Jim at contingency at all the Score races. He's always there and always willing to help out.
