Re: Ball joints

If you do alot of fast off roading then you may be interested in using some sort of king pin setup instead of ball joints. I have been working on a class 8 race truck 2wd full size. and I have seen them used on the race trucks. I have used MOOG parts and have been semi-happy with them. Give me more info on your vehicle and ill see what
else i can find.

Re: Ball joints

Hey Drew! We need more class 8's out there! Fight the good fight! Do you have any pics of the builup?

Pitt, since you're wearing (or beating) balljoints like crazy and if you can't afford to do the kingpin setup, consider using uniballs. They have better angles and they are cheaper than Henry's or other types of balljoints.

Chances are that you have some wrong angles with your lift, and that's why you are ruining them so quickly.

Check out that option...

Re: Ball joints

Well, my truck is 2wd, it has a 3.5" fabteck lift with 1" ball joint spacers. Also I was wondering what the king pin set up is i've never heard of that before. Thanks for your help.
