Building a 90\' f-150 4x4 prerunner

hoping someone can help me find a good web site or

something that will build me a good strong front end for

my truck because i beat the [bleep] out of it and it keeps on

breaking right now I have custom(not widened) 4x4 I-beams

and camburg coil buckets with S.A.W. shocks but that doesnt

work for me I took it to Gordons well and jumped the sand

drags and both of my coil buckets broke. so im pissed off

and I want something better. any info will help.

Re: Building a 90\' f-150 4x4 prerunner

sorry for the late reply but my computer was down. but i called baja concepts and there best kit makes your truck 3"wider than stock and I'm most likely going to get that kit but now i need to find some one to fab me a engine cage and a bed cage cause i got some 18"-2.5"s.a.w. shocks and going to get some leafs. So if you know of any fair priced fab shops I could use the info thanks.

I dont know about fair priced shops, but H and M are the Ford experts and know what they are doing. They are in San Marcos.

The Truck Shop is close to you but they are Toyota only.

When you say engine cage, i think of shock mounts, cross bars to link them, eliminate the sheetmetal in front of the firewall(leaving the core support of the radiator), mount the fenders off tabs, as well as accesories, like fuse box, coil, and other things, 2-4 bars to link to front bumper. Is that what you need? What kind of shocks you gonna run?

Bed cage is vague....what do you need done? Shock mounts? Mount bedsides? Rear bump tire carrier?

Re: Building a 90\' f-150 4x4 prerunner

ya that sounds about right. That kit comes with coilover bump stops the whole nine yards. i wanted to get some leafs for the back with the full bed cage (tire mount, fender mounts, ect.) but what kind of leafs do you like to run or is your truck linked. always appreciate the help. maybe when i get my truck runnin we can go break it some time.oh i'm most likely going to run race runners up front cause i already have some for the rear, try to keep it the same ya no.
